What is the purpose of the Freshmen Campus?

The freshmen campus at ETCS is designed to provide a family atmosphere for true freshmen high school students. The program is different from the main ETCS campus in that the classes are not self-paced. The enrollment of these classes is limited to 20 students so that the two instructors are able to spend quality instructional time with the students in order to help ensure a quality educational experience.

 

Who is eligible for the Freshmen Campus?

Students who are ages 14 and 15 are eligible for admittance to the ETCS Freshmen campus. All students who enter this program must have never attempted 9th grade before unless they are transferring from a school as a true freshmen.

 

How long will I be enrolled in the Freshmen Campus?

All students who are enrolled in the freshmen campus will be enrolled until 6 credits have been accomplished. It is the goal of this program that the students who successfully complete this program will be able to successfully make the move to the 10 - 12 self paced environment

 

How do I apply?

The application process for the freshmen campus is the same as for the main campus. An application must be filled out and turned into the school office. This application can be printed out here or picked up at the office. All students who turn in an application will be put on a waiting list and have to wait for an available slot to open up.
