  • Marybel Castillo

    ET Charter is happy to welcome Mrs. Marybel Castillo as our new receptionist. Mrs. Castillo is a 2008 graduate of ET Charter. She is married to Jimmy Castillo who is also an ET Charter graduate. The Castillo’s have 2 boys Jimmy (9) and Roman (3). Welcome to the family!

    The start of the school year is approaching fast!  We are look forward to seeing everyone return as well as getting to know the new students who will be joining us!

     

    Cross country practice will begin August 2nd at 8:00 am.  Contact Coach Hood for more information.  (bhood@etchs.net)  If you do not have a current physical on file, come by the school and pick up a packet to get this done.

Announcements

  •  Get Updates from ETCS!

    You can now receive text updates from ETCS using the remind service.  It's easy, and it's free.  Send a text to 81010 with the message @etcs1.  Once you have done this, you will receive 1-2 text messages per week letting you know what is happening at ETCS.  This service is a great way to keep up with early release days, testing schedules, and other related items.

  • Do I have to pay to attend East Texas Charter?

    No, East Texas Charter is a public school funded by the Texas Education Administration.  Occasionaly we will ask for cleaning supply donations, but there is no tuition associated with the school

  • What extracurricular activities are available at ETCS?

    ET Charter is a UIL member school and offers academic competition, cross country, golf, power lifting, tennis, and track and field.  In addition to this, ET Charter takes multiple field trips throughout the year to area colleges and universities.
