About Me:

This is my 19th year of teaching! I started my teaching career by teaching Kindergarten for 2 years in Marshall, then spent 16 years teaching at Hallsville ISD. I have worked for many years as a sign-language interpreter at a church, schools, and at LeTourneau University.  I am excited about being a part of East Texas Charter School this year! I am teaching English I & III in addition to Professional Communication. 

I enjoy reading, being outside, learning new things, singing, and spending time with my friends and family. I am a part of Woodland Hills Baptist Church. My Christian faith serves as a compass for life. 

I have 3 adult children. My 2 daughters are both married to wonderful guys, have successful careers, and active little children! My son is currently attending college. I  have 5 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with.
