Mrs. Sims

Hello! My name is Kristina Sims and this will be my first year to teach Science and Music at East Texas Charter.  I have been teaching for 15 years in the Longview area.  I have a Music Education degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and Texas teaching certifications for Jr. High and High School Math and Science.  My husband, Jeff, has been teaching at ETCHS for the last 9 years and after hearing all of the great things going on at Charter I finally get to join him.  We have four children.  Our oldest is a Freshman at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, majoring in Computer Science.  Our daughter and two younger sons attend school in the Pine Tree School District.  We have a house full of books, games, puzzles, art projects, musical instruments and cozy blankets. 

This year I will be teaching: Music Apprecitation, Principles of Technology, and Integrated Physics & Chemistry (IPC).
