    The 2018 - 2019 school year will be the innaguraul season for ET Charter to participate in power lifting.  The season is in the spring and practices will be conducted either before school or during the weights and conditioning class period.  The sport involves three lifts, bench press, squat, and deadlift.  The the total of the three lifts is added together for a combined score.  To even out the competition, student-athletes compete within their weight class. Powerlifting is not a UIL sport; however, ET Charter requires all participants to meet the same physical and academic requirements as all other ET Charter athletics.
