Performance Rating Criteria

Community and Parental Involvement

In Order To Receive An “Acceptable Rating” ETCS shall:

  • Provide a Parent/Student Holiday Luncheon
  • Provide Students Business Field Trip Opportunities Throughout School Year
  • Conduct a Minimum of One Food Drive Annually

In Order to Receive A “Recognized Rating” ETCS shall:

  • Complete all Criteria for An “Acceptable Rating”
  • Make Regular Documented Contact With Parents Pertaining to Academic/Social Progress
  • Providing Students the Opportunity to Visit Local Nursing Homes

In Order to Receive An “Exemplary Rating” ETCS shall:

  •  Complete All Criteria for A “Recognized Rating”
  • Conduct a Blood Drive Among Upper Classmen Yielding 20 Pints of Blood OR
  • Conduct a Blood Drive Among Upper Classmen Yielding 40% Attempting to Donate

Wellness and Physical Education

In Order to Receive An “Acceptable Rating” ETCS shall:

  • 60% of all students will get CPR training through their Science class
  • 60% of all students will participate in FitnessGram each year

In Order to Receive A “Recognized Rating” ETCS shall:

  • 70% of all students will get CPR training through their Science class
  • 70% of all students will participate in FitnessGram each year
  • 5% of students will become CPR certified

In Order to Receive An “Exemplary Rating” ETCS shall”

  • 90% of all students will get CPR training through their Science class
  • 90% of all students will participate in FitnessGram each year
  • 10% of students will become CPR certified

 Dropout Prevention Strategies

In Order to Receive An “Acceptable Rating” ETCS shall:

  • Contact Parents Daily of Student Absences or Have Parents Call in Absences or Both
  • Contact Parents Whenever a Student Grade Drops Below 75

In Order to Receive A “Recognized Rating” ETCS shall:

  • Utilize the “Reminder App” to Keep Parents and Students Informed and Updated
  • Provide a Guys Night Out and Girls Night Out for School Involvement and Spirit
  • Maintain a Parent Contact Log for Students In Need of Help/Tutoring/EOC

In Order to Receive An “Exemplary Rating” ETCS shall”

  • Assign Each Student an Adult Mentor
  • Provide Regular Opportunities for Students to Interact with Mentor
  • Provide Opportunities for Parents to Meet and Interact with Mentors/Students (Holiday Luncheon, Open House, Etc.)

 The OVERALL Performance Rating for the school shall be no higher than the lowest individual performance rating.
